Suvir Bajaj
Founder and President
Suvir Bajaj, a senior at Los Altos High School, is the founder and president of The Maker Channel. He was diagnosed with Leukemia in July 2017. While receiving treatment, he met Gokul Krishnan, the founder of Makertherapy program. Suvir was inspired by the creation of the Makerspace, however, he lacked the skills necessary to utilize it to its full potential. To address this problem, he took a class in Engineering and Design at his High School and taught himself how to use 3D modeling software. Suvir wanted to create a fun and engaging platform to teach the skills that he developed to other hospital patients and decided to found The Maker Channel Club at his high school.
